Blue Heron Bridge · 60-Day Tide Planning Calendar

Astronomical predictions, not a 60-day weather forecast. NOAA Port of Palm Beach station 8722588 is a representative harbor station; high water is not automatically slack current at the bridge.

● Daylight high tide (sunrise to before sunset) · ● Evening high tide (sunset–10 p.m.) · Other high tides and all low tides are uncolored. Local EDT/EST; heights in feet above MLLW.

Diving at Phil Foster Park is generally sunrise–sunset outside the guarded swimming area. Dive instruction and group night dives require county permits/authorization. Current permit terms require permit holders and affiliates out of the water and leaving the park by 10 p.m.; a blue high tide does not establish access, slack or a safe start time. Confirm arrangements with your operator. Official park rules · County permit terms.

Phil Foster Park / Blue Heron Bridge

Open this report’s location reference in Google Maps. This is a planning reference, not a Stuart Scuba branch or confirmed departure point.

Planning area: Phil Foster Park reference [26.783545, -80.04173] from the official county park map. Offshore point [26.77, -80.01] and AMZ650 weather/seas/wind are the SAME WPB regional dataset, checked Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 3:01 PM EST. Offshore data do not measure bridge currents, visibility or slack. NOAA Port of Palm Beach station 8722588 is a representative tide station, not an offshore measurement. Heights are ft above MLLW; no manual tide-time correction is applied.

Seas color scale: The improvement sequence is red to yellow, yellow to blue, then blue to green. This Stuart Scuba planning color combines sea height and period, using the upper daily height and shortest displayed period. At the same height, longer periods can improve the color by at most one neighboring step. For example, 4 ft at 5 s is red/yellow, 3 ft at 5 s is yellow/blue, and 2 ft at 5 s is mostly green with some blue; 2 ft at 2 s stays blue. The base anchors are green at 1 ft or less, blue at 2 ft, yellow at 3 ft and red at 4 ft, with interpolation between them. Period credit is zero at 2 s or less and grows to one color step at 6 s or longer; seas of 5 ft or higher remain red regardless of period. A bar blends only the two neighboring colors for its height/period index, rather than running through every color from top to bottom. Bars rise from zero to the upper height; a dashed mark shows the lower height. Hatching identifies an estimated height and/or period. Wave caps are illustrative. This is not an official NWS rating; wind, current, thunderstorms, advisories and the captain's current assessment still matter. Colors do not authorize a dive or charter.

Wind compasses: calm 0–3 kt; light above 3 and below 12 kt; breezy 12–19 kt; strong 20+ kt. mph is converted internally only for icon selection. Easterly amber and westerly teal are separate nearshore-direction cues, never dive clearance. Variable winds have no fixed bearing. Preserve full point/land qualifications in day details.

Sources and estimate basis: NOAA tides retrieved Nov 1, 3:00 PM EST. Forecast issue times: land: Nov 1, 2:56 PM EST, zone: Nov 1, 2:56 AM EST, point: Nov 1, 2:56 PM EST. A new check is not a new model run. No forecast/observation average is used; no comparable independent forecast pair was established.

Shared WPB forecast provenance — unchanged source values/times:

Sources and estimate basis: Retrieved Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 3:01 PM EST. NWS land issue Nov 1, 2:56 PM EST, generated Nov 1, 3:01 PM EST; AMZ650 issue Nov 1, 2:56 AM EST; marine point machine issue Nov 1, 2:56 PM EST. A new retrieval is not a new model run. The marine display-time string conflicts with creationDate; the machine timestamp is used. Rain percentages use the rounded detailed narrative; raw API probability values can differ slightly. Forecasts for different areas remain separate; no comparable independent significant-wave forecast pair was established, so no blended average was made.

NWPS WPB plot was visually checked: run 12Z October 22, 2019, stale and excluded. NOAA Lake Worth Pier 8722670 highs/lows were freshly requested, sorted together by UTC timestamp, validated as alternating high/low events, then converted using America/New_York. Heights are feet above MLLW. Local-date columns use actual elapsed time through the daylight-saving change, including true local noon ticks; the smooth curve between events is a visual guide. Sunrise/sunset were checked against the linked monthly table. LKWF1 and distant 41114 observations remain separate from forecasts; 41114 is regional trend context, not a local inlet measurement.

Solar method: NOAA approximate solar equations, apparent horizon zenith 90.833°, at the named location reference; approximately 1–2 minute accuracy, local America/New_York conversion. Tide predictions were sorted together and validated as strictly increasing and alternating H/L. The curve is a visual guide; DST uses each local day’s actual duration. No local tide heights/times were inferred.
