PC-1174 wreck overview
The PC-1174 is a former military patrol craft and artificial-reef wreck in the West Palm Beach Corridor. Palm Beach County Diving Association describes the wreck as having broken into several pieces; the largest section lies beneath the bow of the Mizpah. It is one stop in a longer northbound corridor route, not a shore-access site.
Depth, access and planning
- Site type: patrol-craft shipwreck and artificial reef.
- Depth: published descriptions place the Corridor at about 85 feet overall, with a published range of approximately 63–90 feet. This is a regional range; depth varies across the route and wreck material.
- Access: boat only. The Corridor is commonly dived as a drift. Current and drop point vary by day; follow the captain’s briefing and dive plan.
- Experience: Confirm the planned profile, training requirements and current with Stuart Scuba before booking. Wreck entry requires appropriate training, equipment and an approved plan.
- What divers may see: artificial-reef growth and fish life; seasonal goliath grouper encounters are possible in the wider Corridor but never guaranteed.
