Course Description
The SDI Wreck Diver Specialty – NO Penetration introduces divers to the excitement of wreck exploration. Learn wreck-diving techniques, hazard identification, navigation, dive planning, and environmental awareness while exploring historic shipwrecks and artificial reefs. This course emphasizes safe external exploration without entering enclosed wreck structures.
Price: $395.00 per diver
Prerequisites
- Minimum age 18, 15 years with parental consent
- Certification: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
- Minimum logged dives: No additional logged dives required
- Completed SDI paperwork and medical questionnaire
Duration
- Approximately 1 day, including:
- SDI knowledge development and instructor review
- 2 open-water training dives
