When is the Galápagos trip?

Check-in is January 29, 2028 at 11:00 a.m. local time; check-out is February 5 at 9:00 a.m.

How long is the liveaboard trip?

The package lists seven nights aboard the Tiburon Explorer.

Which dive sites are planned?

The itinerary highlights Wolf and Darwin Islands. Exact sites depend on the operator and conditions.

How many dives are included?

Your trip includes six dive days, up to four dives a day, typically 19 dives total.

Is Nitrox included?

Yes. The trip lists a free Nitrox upgrade.

What wildlife might divers see?

You may see hammerheads, whale sharks, sea lions, mantas, turtles and other wildlife. Sightings are not guaranteed.

Are land excursions included?

Convertible cabins can be arranged as a double bed or two twin beds. Confirm your requested configuration.

Are meals and drinks included?

Meals and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are included aboard.

What is the listed diver price?

Current pricing: $7,645 per diver in double occupancy, double or twin. Confirm current cabin availability and pricing.

Is airfare included?

No. International airfare to Baltra via Guayaquil or Quito costs extra.

What fees are paid locally?

You’ll pay a $200 Galápagos Park fee in cash on arrival and a $20 TCT Tourist Card online before travel. Verify the current fees before departure.

Is there a fuel surcharge?

A $150 environmental fuel surcharge is listed as payable in cash onboard. The current surcharge is zero but may change, so confirm close to departure.

What is the payment schedule?

Your payment schedule is a $1,500 non-refundable payment at booking, $2,000 due May 3, 2027, and the balance due September 30, 2027.

Is dive insurance required?

Yes. Dive insurance is required; we also recommend travel insurance.

Are rental gear and training included?

No. Rental gear and training cost extra.

Are gratuities included?

No. Gratuities cost extra and paid in cash onboard.
