Opening Day of Grouper and Hogfish Season!

Join us for a 2 tank dive as we explore the less traveled areas in search of dinner! Hunters and gatherers welcomed with appropriate equipment and licenses/permits. Lionfish must be in hard sided containment units and all guns must be unloaded before getting back onboard. Feel free to simply enjoy the dive and not hunt as well. We have room for everyone. We do require advanced certifications so that we can hit the deeper spotsl

FWC Atlantic Grouper and Hogfish Season Opens May 1, 2024 at 12:01AM and has a 3 grouper limit per person per day (some species are 1 fish per person)

(TL = Total Length, Remember to close the mouth and pinch the tail on a flat surface to get an accurate measurement)

(FL = Fork Length, Remember to close the mouth and flatten the tail on a flat surface to get an accurate measurement)

Atlantic Hogfish must be 16" FL (may only take one per person per day)

Gag Grouper must be 24" TL (may only take 1 in 3 species limit)

Red Grouper must be 20" TL (may only take 1 in 3 species limit)

Scamp Grouper must be 20" TL (may take 3 in 3 species limit)

Yellowfin Grouper must be 20" TL (may take 3 in 3 species limit)

Yellowmouth Grouper must be 20" TL (may take 3 in 3 species limit)

Rock/Red Hind, Coney, Graysby, Yellowedge/Misty Groupers have no size limit (may take 3 in 3 species limit)

Snowy and Warsaw/Speckled Hind have no size limit (limited to 1 fish per vessel per day)
